Located in Benissanó, within a quiet residential setting deeply connected to the Mediterranean landscape, Casa La Llometa emerges as a serene response to the site's conditions. The plot is rectangular, only eight metres wide, which naturally led to a semi-detached housing typology.
The house is composed of pure volumes and clean lines that adapt to the typology and the available space. Interior spaces open onto the courtyard through large glazed openings that blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, allowing natural light and views tobecome part of everyday life.
This courtyard becomes a Mediterranean oasis: a place for gathering and relaxation, where the reflectionof the sky on the water enhances the sense of openness and luminosity.
The material palette reinforces this Mediterranean character. White surfaces, natural textures, and warm tones coexist with the surrounding vegetation, reflecting the intense local light and creating serene, timeless atmospheres. Porches, terraces, and transitional spaces encourage a constant relationship with both the climate and the outdoors.
At the heart of the house lies aspacious living area conceived as a bright and fluid space where the livingroom, dining room, and kitchen merge naturally.
Casa La Llometa is an architecture free from artifice-honest, balanced, and understated. A home that finds its identity in proportion and light; a contemporary retreat designed to experience the Mediterranean lifestyle with ease and fullness.
